Maoists set ablaze house in Lohardaga

CPI (Maoist) extremists set ablaze a house at Siram village in Jharkhand's Lohardaga after looting valuables while a hardcore ultra was nabbed in Bokaro in a separate incident.

Police said a group of extremists barged into the house of Lal Gopalnath Sahadeo at midnight on Saturday and looted valuables worth Rupees five lakh, police said quoting the FIR lodged in Kisko police station.

Before leaving the spot, the ultras set the house ablaze, the FIR said.

In a separate incident in Bokaro, police arrested a hardcore ultra on Saturday night.

The arrested man had been involved in several incidents, police said.
