All the rituals of the marriage ceremony were performed by the locals. The couple was overwhelmed when they got married in traditional Hindu way. After the marriage ceremony, the couple worshipped the Ganga and offered diyas (traditional earthen lamps) to the river.

After the marriage, they said that they had an opportunity to understand the Hindu religion. Both of them came to the holy city 12 days ago; and they were staying in a lodge at Luxa area. Before coming to the district, they visited Haridwar and Rishikesh where they were fascinated to see Hindu marriage ceremony.

Both of them met Brahmins Rajendra Kumar Dubey and Hiranand Pandey and expressed their willingness to get married in Hindu way.
