The MCG chief medical officer has already prepared a report regarding the things needed to run the hospital.

Huda had completed the construction of this 100-bed hospital in early 2010. The hospital spread over 10 acres of land took eight years to get ready. But after completion, it didn't find any taker.

Had the hospital become functional, it would have been a boon for many residents. Huda has been approaching various departments to find a party that could take care of the facility. It had even approached the health department in the district, but the department officials asked Huda officials to approach the state health department. Then, it approached the MCG.

Sanjay Chugh, spokesman and PRO, MCG, said, "We are considering the total expenditure needed to run the hospital and if the MCG would be able to bear the cost or not. Only after analysing these things, we will decide whether we are in a position to run the hospital."
