Metro work comes to halt

The delay in signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Haryana government and the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is delaying Metro's expansion to Faridabad.

The delay in signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Haryana government and the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is delaying Metro's expansion to Faridabad.

The meeting of officials of National Highway Authority of India, DMRC and Huda is scheduled for Tuesday in connection with the Metro project up to YMCA crossing in Faridabad.

"Once the MoU between the DMRC and Haryana government is signed, we will move ahead with this project," said Kumar Keshav, Director Projects and Planning DMRC.
