Mild tremor hits Kutch region in Gujarat
A mild tremor measuring 3.9 on the Richter scale with its epicentre in the Rann of Kutch was felt in Kutch and its adjoining areas on Saturday afternoon, district officials said.

A mild tremor measuring 3.9 on the Richter scale with its epicentre in the Rann of Kutch was felt in Kutch and its adjoining areas on Saturday afternoon, district officials said.
There was, however, no report of any damage to life or property.
"The epicentre of the tremor, which was felt at 12.10 pm, was in Runn of Kutch (Kutch desert). It was also felt in the adjoining district of Jamnagar," Kutch District Collector RR Varsani said.
Hundreds of people had died in Kutch when a powerful earthquake had hit the region on January 26, 2001.
