MMA blames Prez for Balochistan trouble

Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf is responsible for the deteriorating situation in Balochistan and recent deaths in the troubled province, MMA leader Liaquat Baloch has said.

Life had come to a standstill in the province and terrorist activities had become a daily occurrence, adding the military ruler was not bothered about the situation, the Dawn quoted Baloch as saying in a press statement.

He added that the country was facing a worse law and order situation and security agencies had failed to protect the lives and property of the people.

The operation in the province should be stopped immediately and problem should be solved through dialogue, he said.
