Pandey was replying to queries related to allegations levelled against Congress president Sonia Gandhi by the CM.
He gave a call to inactive party workers of 70s and 80s to come out of their hibernation and help strengthen the party in Uttar Pradesh. Commenting on the law and order situation in the State, Pandey said, “The State is in the grip of mafiosi and the State Government is being run by the criminals and anti-social elements.
On the future of the State Government, Pandey said there was no need to topple the Samajwadi Party Government, as it would fall on its own. He also stated that the need of the hour was to strengthen the Congress Party in the larger interest of the State.
