Purpose in life
Neha Dhupia has just launched a laptop but struggles when asked about technology .

"Given a choice, I try and stay away from high-tech. I still like writing letters the old fashioned way she says,"

Dhupia's oomph factor could be the reason why she is invited to laptop launches. "I think glamour sells but one shouldn't forget one's real purpose in life," she says seriously.

Dhupia, it seems, has taken a U-turn from her earlier sex kitten positioning, "I've become numb to the word sexy."

So what does the former Miss India find sexy in a man? "Different people have different reasons for finding someone sexy," she says evasively.

Just good friends
Cajole her and she says she likes mamma's boys. "I think they're a lot more caring and tender; they're far more likely to look after you well."

Is India's top squash player, Ritwik Bhattacharya one of them?

"Oh, come on now. He's a great friend and there's nothing more I want to say about him."

New beginnings
Dhupia may be tight-lipped about her personal life, but she speaks at length about her work. Her releases this year include Dus Kahaniyan, Mithya, I'm 24 and Kuch Love Kuch Drama.

"Thankfully it's a mixed bag.. , people will hopefully change their perception of me. It's flattering when people appreciate me for my work and not for my looks."

"People are finally listening to me instead of just staring at me. I'm not a sex symbol anymore."
