Addressing mediapersons, Bahadur said the state has good locations for the shooting and the government should come with a concrete proposal for promoting film production.
Talking about the recent boom in Bhojpuri films, he said most of the directors had no Hindi background. So it would be better if 'sons of the soil' directed Bhojpuri films as they were well versed in local culture.
He expressed hope that the local directors would show their interest in Bhojpuri film production.
