No proposal from Pak Prez to visit J&K: PM

PM says he has not received any proposal from Musharraf to visit J&K to participate in a roundtable conference.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Thursday said he had not received any proposal from Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf to visit Jammu and Kashmir to participate in a roundtable conference.

"I cannot reply to statement made through the press. President Musharraf has made no such proposal to me," Singh told a press conference in Srinagar when asked about media reports that Musharraf had expressed willingness to attend a roundtable conference in Srinagar.
