Now, Indian pizza-man in the soup!
Harjit, who caused Sgro's downfall, is in deep trouble over his alleged role in a scam, reports Gurmukh Singh.
Having triggered the resignation of Canadian Immigration Minister Judy Sgro by alleging that she promised him asylum in exchange for free pizzas and workers during the June poll campaign, Toronto-based Indian pizza shop owner Harjit Singh, who faces deportation, was himself in further trouble.

Even as his pastor, Sarwar Din of Evangelical Asian Church, defended Singh and his family, all converts to Christianity, by saying that they were church-going and God-fearing people, newspapers carried reports about his involvement in a $1million credit card scam.
He also faces a $57,000 lawsuit by his lawyer for his unpaid fee.
On the basis on court documents, immigration records and interviews with his acquaintances, Toronto Star which published his allegations on Saturday, on Sunday sketched a fresh portrait of the jailed Indian as "a sophisticated fraudster, church-going Mennonite, deeply depressed widower (his wife Satinder died last year) and father fighting desperately to keep his family together in Canada.''
Singh, along with his sons Surinderpal Singh and Parminder Singh, and daughter Jatinder Kaur, was found guilty of credit/debit card fraud and making counterfeit cards by a judge last June, the newspaper said.
