The Delhi High Court on Friday directed all private schools in the Capital to follow recommendations of Ashok Ganguly Committee for admissions in nursery classes, while giving them a week's time to file suggestions and objections in the case.

A Division Bench of Acting Chief Justice Vijender Jain and Justice Kailash Gambhir said the schools not following Ganguly committee's recommendations will not offer admissions in nursery classes.

A PIL challenging the holding of interviews by private schools for parents seeking admission for their wards in nursery classes has been filed in the court, which had earlier directed all private schools to comply with Ganguly Committee's recommendations for a year on trial basis.
