Altogether 42 tribal youths from Talsara Assembly constituency of Sundargarh district were rescued last night from Sundargarh town bus stop while they were boarding a Bhubaneswar-bound bus for their onward journey to Goa, police said.

They had also rescued ten youths on Tuesday from the bus stand.

The youths aged between 18 and 25 years have alleged that in absence of any source of income for their livelihood they had decided to migrate to Goa for employment, police said.

The youths alleged that even the district officials failed to provide them employment as daily labour under the ongoing MNRGS scheme.

The youths returned to their village only after promise made by senior police and district officials to provide job under MNRGS scheme.
