Overnight camp held at Sagar Public School

THREE-DAY overnight camp was held at Sagar Public School from February 15 to 17. This year the theme for the camp was ?Values? Dharma.

The camp started with the flag ceremony and a prayer. Children from Classes IV to XI went for trekking to Kaliasot Dam. Various camp activities like yogasana, meditation, chanting, camp games, camp songs, antakshari, quiz, spin-a-yarn, laughter club, cricket match were organised.

The campfire were one of the most exciting events. Through these events children imbibed values while having fun. The camp brought students together under one roof.

They learnt to be cooperative and independent and become better individuals sharing and caring, learning a lot during their stay away from home. Anuj Niv Sarkar was adjudged the best camper. Dharma was the best value group.
