Parihar threatens former minister

SECURITY ARRANGEMENTS have been beefed up at the residence of former MP minister Aidal Singh Kansana in the wake of threats to his life and his family by notorious dacoit Jagjivan Parihar. Parihar carries a reward of Rs 5 lakh on his head and is active in the border areas of Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.

Morena Superintendent of Police Yogesh Choudhury said here on Tuesday that an unidentified caller threatened Kansana on his mobile on Monday taking the dacoit’s name. Kansana himself informed the police about the threat call. Security guards have been posted at his residence. Police were getting details of the call and attempting to locate the caller.

Meanwhile, Chambal range IGP Vijay Yadav confirmed the mobile number belonged to Jagjivan Parihar.
