Commuters will have to wait for some more days to get relief from traffic jams at the Signature Tower flyover.
The traffic police’s plan to implement a compulsory left turn for vehicles — coming from Iffco Chowk and headed towards Rajiv Chowk on the service lane of the Signature Tower flyover — is likely to be executed from September 15.
Traffic police officials said installation of signages to inform commuters will take some time.
Besides this, the plan of widening service lanes at this intersection will also take a few more days, said an official.
“We hope that the diversion of compulsory left turn will be in place from September 15. We are pursuing the matter with the Haryana Urban Development Authority (Huda) and the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI),” said Bharti Arora, DCP (traffic). htc
