Police team sent to Gaya to trace abducted youths

A TEAM of Chandauli police has been sent to Gaya in Bihar for investigation in connection with the kidnapping of two youths of Chakia. They were allegedly kidnapped for a ransom of Rs 10 lakh on November 11.

A TEAM of Chandauli police has been sent to Gaya in Bihar for investigation in connection with the kidnapping of two youths of Chakia. They were allegedly kidnapped for a ransom of Rs 10 lakh on November 11.

The SP (Chandauli) Pravin Kumar said the place of crime is in Bihar but a team of selected cops has already been sent to Gaya to investigate the case minutely in association with their counterparts and to rescue the kidnapped persons there.

It may be noted that qualified youths - Rajendra and Kailash Sonker, residents of Chakia in Chandauli had got in touch with someone from Bihar, who offered them to provide a job in the railways. The youths had gone to Gaya where they were allegedly kidnapped by some men for a ransom of Rs 10 lakh.
