Pollock back on top of bowling standings

South African fast bowler Shaun Pollock has regained top spot in the PricewaterhouseCoopers weekly Test bowling ratings despite being unable to force victory against Pakistan.

South African fast bowler Shaun Pollock has regained top spot in the PricewaterhouseCoopers weekly Test bowling ratings despite being unable to force victory in the second Test against Pakistan in Faisalabad.

Pollock took six for 78 in the first innings and one for 27 in the second during the drawn second Test with Pakistan.

Steve Harmison climbed to 19th after his nine wickets in the first Test against Bangladesh. Harmison has been ruled out of the second Test with a back injury.

Victorious England captain Michael Vaughan moved back into the top 10 batting ratings after hitting an unbeaten 81 in the second innings of the first Test against Bangladesh in Dhaka.
