Pro-people policies helped SP: Minister

STATE MINISTER Jaiprakash Yadav said here on Friday that the Samajwadi Party (SP) was able to consolidate its position in the State because of its pro-people policies.

STATE MINISTER Jaiprakash Yadav said here on Friday that the Samajwadi Party (SP) was able to consolidate its position in the State because of its pro-people policies.

The party is determined to promote the welfare of socially and economically weaker sections. The SP-led government launched various schemes to uplift their standard of living.

Speaking as chief guest at a camp organised at Chargawan block for distributing the applications forms for old age and widow pensions. The forms were furnished on the spot and the pension was granted to the applicants. The camp was organised by SP MLA Kamlesh Paswan.

Expressing his views on this occasion, SP MLC Ganesh Shanker Pandey said that in the last three years the State Government introduced several schemes for weaker sections.

He said that the power supply in the State was not up to the mark but said that State Government had taken concrete steps to increase the power generation.

Presiding over the camp, party’s district unit president Chandrabali Yadav called upon the party workers to go to the people to highlight the State government’s achievements. He strongly condemned the Congress and the BJP for making false allegations against the ruling SP.
