Residents of several villages went on a rampage last night after a video, showing a local youth in a compromising position with two girls inside his truck, surfaced in Nasrallahpora village, they said.

The mob damaged the truck and attacked the house of the driver, who belongs to a Muslim minority sect, officials said.

Police rushed to the spot and imposed a curfew to prevent the issue from taking a sectarian hue, they said.

The youth has been arrested and the curfew remains in force in Nasrallahpora, Dafpora, Grend Crossing, Kakran Marg, Mirgund and Takipora areas.
