Railway bypass 'a lollipop'for Rohtak public: INLD

On the foundation laying ceremony of the Rohtak railway bypass line by union railway minister Mallikarjun Kharge here on Sunday, Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) leader Abhey Chautala said: "Chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has given Rohtak public a lollipop, as the implementation of this project is far from reality."

Citing reasons, while addressing a press conference near old bus stand here on Sunday, Ellenabad legislator said: "It's quite surprising to see that the Hooda government has laid the foundation stone of a project, for which even land has not been acquired." Chautala said: "The Congress has grown anxious with the rising graph of INLD's popularity and to counter that they have started inaugurating projects in haphazard manner."

He said before acquiring any land, the government had to first issue notices under section 4, 6 and 9, but no notification had been issued to the owners of land announced for setting up railway bypass.

Terming the senior Congress leaders as hypocrites, he said: "Sometime Planning Commission chairman cracks cruel joke by saying that if someone earns Rs 33 per day, then he should be eliminated from below poverty line (BPL), sometime, its leaders claim that a man can get full plate delicious food for rupees five."

He said time had come when public of the state would vote out the Congress in the next assembly and parliamentary elections and would install the INLD at the helm of the state.
