A local court on Saturday extended the judicial remand of these three prime accused in the Satyam fraud case by two weeks. The remand of the two Pricewaterhouse auditors arrested in connection with the case, S. Gopalakrishnan and Talluri Srinivas, was also similarly extended.

It was the fourth extension of the judicial remand of Raju brothers and Vadlamani Srinivas since their arrest last month. However, the Rajus can look forward to a comfortable stay as another local court had, on Friday, granted them the status of “special class prisoner”.
