Rare book exhibition gets underway
Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS) conducts its sixth exhibition of rare books.
'Treasures of Indian Wildlife' - the sixth rare book exhibition by Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS) opens here today and will continue till February 11.

The exhibition, a part of Kalaghoda festival, was inaugurated here yesterday by Nawab of Palanpur Iqbal Mohamed Khan. It is being held by BNHS in a span of two years with a few books on display being over 100 to 200 years old.
Visitors to this exhibition will have a chance to see rare books like Birds of Asia by John Gould, Oriental Memoirs by James Forbes, Denizens of the Jungles by Robert Sterndale and Birds of NorthCachar by E C Stuart Baker.
There are also books on varied subjects such as Mumbai police, Indian Army, Oriental Armour, Kashmir, Gujarat, Tibet and China.
