Election office sources here said the repolling was held in Dhubri, Kokrajhar, Gauhati, Mangaldoi and Tezpur constituencies.

The Election Commission ordered the fresh voting following damages caused to electronic voting machines by unidentified miscreants and group clashes amidst allegations of rigging on Monday during the first phase of the polls.

During the first phase 62.98 per cent electors cast their votes in Gauhati, Barpeta, Mangaldoi, Tezpur, Dhubri and Kokrajhar Lok Sabha constituencies.
