A property dealer has been arrested by Delhi Police for duping a client of Rs54 crore.

Suresh Sharma, a resident of Tikli village, Gurgaon, has been accused of cheating a Gurgaon-based trader by selling him a plot fraudulently.

The case was registered after a property dealer of Gurgaon's Sakatpur village approached Delhi Police to complain about the fraud.
On Saturday, a team of Delhi Police carried out a raid at Sharma's office in City Plaza here and seized various documents related to property fraud.
According to police, Sharma along with his son has been booked in other fraud cases as well. In September 2011, a case was registered against him in DLF City Phase-2 police station while another case was lodged at Badshahpur police station in April 2011.
