For sultry Sameera Reddy, life mein Darna Mana Hai. After all, there's no fun in life if you don't walk on the edge, she says.

Enjoying Ranna Gill and Malini Ramani's show on Saturday, at the LIFW in Mumbai, Sameera loved the queen of ramp's histrionics – Malini's sheer madness and Ranna's wearability. "They are young and talented, and their designs leave you gasping for more. Though I'm more of a Dolce & Gabanna girl – I lap up everything from their shades to shoes. But what I'd really love to buy is a pair of their new Gladiator sandals that are taking the world by storm," she says.

With Darna Mana Hai opening this Friday, Sameera says thrillers are the current craze. "After the success of Ramgopal Varma's Bhoot, filmmakers have realised that's where the moolah is. But Darna Mana Hai, unlike Bhoot, has no ghost. It's bizarre but it doesn't spook you," she says.

Sameera admits she lives for the arclights. "I won't fool anybody by saying, ‘Oh! I'm a private person'. I love people, flashbulbs and the paparazzi. What's the harm to be in the media glare if you have nothing to hide?" she quips.

And she knows it helps to stay fit: "I love to keep fit, so I swim everyday and hit the gym for an hour daily. In Bollywood, better the body you have, the brighter are your chances of bagging roles."

Her next film is Sanjay Gupta's Musafir, co-starring Dino Morea. "For me, cinema is life. I have to make it big here because I have nowhere else to go!" concludes Sameera with a smile.
