RSP sponsors two of its sports persons

Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) has sponsored two of its sports persons by extending financial assistance to them to participate in international sports championships.

Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) has sponsored two of its sports persons by extending financial assistance to them to participate in international sports championships.

Krishna Kant, assistant manager, Sports department of RSP has been provided sponsorship for participating in the World Veteran Table Tennis Championship scheduled to be held in China from June 7 to 12, RSP sources said today.

National level power lifter, Gangadhar Bishoi, assistant store keeper in Coke Ovens department received has also received sponsorship to participate in the Asian Power Lifting championship scheduled to be held at Manila, Philippines from August 15 to 18, 2010.

In an ceremony here today, cheques were handed over to the two sports persons by SS Mohanty, Executive Director (P&A) of RSP, the sources added.
