Sahara India Parivar observes Jyoti Diwas

THE 93RD birth anniversary of Sudhir Chandra Roy, popularly known as ?Babuji?, was observed as ?Jyoti Diwas? by Sahara India Parivar on Saturday. Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav, UP Development Council chairman Amar Singh, Sahara India Parivar chief Subrat Roy and Congress Legislature Party leader Pramod Tiwari paid floral tributes at the statue of SC Roy in a programme organised in Sahara Shahar.

Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav, UP Development Council chairman Amar Singh, Sahara India Parivar chief Subrat Roy and Congress Legislature Party leader Pramod Tiwari paid floral tributes at the statue of SC Roy in a programme organised in Sahara Shahar.

Prominent among those present on the occasion were Chabi Roy, Swapna Roy, OP Srivastava, Renu Prakash, Jaibrat Roy, Mausumi Roy, Anil Vikram Singh, Ashok Roy Chowdhury, Kumkum Roy Chowdhury, Chandani Roy, Sudip Niyogi, Trisha Niyogi, Samrat Niyogi, Abhijit Sarkar and Priyanka Sarkar.

Sahara Welfare Foundation distributed hearing aids, wheelchairs, tricycles and clothes among the handicapped. The name of the students selected for the scholarship was announced on the occasion.
