"Sri Sathya Sai Baba who continues to be under treatment of this hospital is showing positive response to the treatment being given to him.

He continues to be on the ventilator and is undergoing dialysis periodically," an evening bulletin issued by the director of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences said here.

Sai Baba's kidneys, lungs and liver are showing improvement, it said. "His kidneys and lungs are showing signs of improvement. His hemodynamic values like heart rate, blood pressure, blood gas analysis are nearly normal. The functioning of liver is also showing improvement," the bulletin said.

"His overall condition is much better than earlier although he is still critical," it said. 85-year-old Sai Baba was admitted to the super-speciality hospital on March 28 following problems related to heart and respiration.
