Ranked 34th in the world, she will play as the last seed.
After winning her first and only WTA title in 2005, Mirza has been in spectacular form. But this year till now, has been a damp squib for her. She's yet to win a singles match after competing in two virtually unknown tournaments.
Sania said it would be at least a couple of months before she found her touch as she had made a few changes to her game while training under Tony Roche.
"It will take me a few months for sure in match pressure situations before I expect to be confident with what I am trying to execute. But for a start -- pretty good," Sania said.
World number one Roger Federer and in the women's game Lindsay Davenport were named top seeds.
