Sanjay Singh appointed ambassador to Iran
India on Thursday named senior diplomat Sanjay Singh as its next Ambassador to Iran. Singh, currently Additional Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs, is in-charge of Gulf Division in the ministry.

India on Thursday named senior diplomat Sanjay Singh as its next Ambassador to Iran.
Singh, currently Additional Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs, is in-charge of Gulf Division in the ministry.
He will succeed Manbir Singh.
Government also posted VP Haran, Joint Secretary in the MEA, as the next Ambassador to Syria.
