Scholarship for tribal students hiked

MADHYA PRADESH State Schedule Tribes Commission member Yeshwant Singh Darbar visited the post-metric girls and boy’s hostels run by Tribal Welfare Department in Indore recently.

Darbar informed the students in Kamla Nehru post and pre-metric hostel about the increments in scholarship given to tribal students. Darbar also inspected the mess of these hostels. The other hostels he visited were Rajiv Gandhi hostel and Chandrashekhar Azad hostel.

Darbar interacted with the students and said that the government was concentrating on connecting the tribal population with the mainstream of society. Tribal Welfare Department district convener Sudhanshu Verma was also present on the occasion.
