M L Bright is charged with sexually harassing the girl studying in a school run by him in this hill town. He had surrendered before a judicial magistrate last week.

His daughter and school principal, Sheela Paul, had been arrested earlier.

In a complaint, the girl's guardian had alleged that Bright had sexually harassed the girl on June 3 in a hostel located there.

The girl was staying along with 17 others at Bright's house which was converted into a hostel.

Bright has been charged under different sections, including Sec 354 (outraging modesty of woman by assaulting or using criminal force).
