The Supreme Court on Wednesday transferred the trial of Sankararaman murder case, in which Kanchi Sankarcharya Jayendra Saraswathi is an accused, to a court in Pondicherry.

The case pending before Principal Sessions Judge, Chengalpet, was transferred to Principal Sessions Judge, Pondicherry.
