On the other hand, the NCP leaders are gearing up for the party’s convention at Nashik on March 1, where party chief Sharad Pawar is expected to announce his stand on alliance with Congress.

Both, Sena and NCP are locked in tussle with their alliance partners-BJP and Congress respectively over sharing of seats for coming parliamentary elections.

Sena leader Manohar Joshi said that the decision on alliance with BJP would be announced in a week. He was also hopeful that a solution would be worked out soon.
