Shiney Ahuja to undergo DNA test

Shiney Ahuja, arrested on charge of raping his teenage domestic help at his residence, will undergo DNA test, police said.

“The accused (Shiney) will undergo various forensic tests that include DNA test as well. This will help us to gather more evidence against him,” Deputy Police Commissioner Niket Kaushik told PTI.

Shiney, lodged in Andheri lock-up, was questioned by police. Meanwhile, a team of Mumbai police has gone to Roha in nearby Raigad district, the native place of the victim, to verify from her school whether she was a minor.

Shiney is in police custody till Thursday.
