Shohada Brigade behind twin terror attacks in J-K

Lesser known local militant organization, Shohada Brigade, has claimed the responsibility for Thursday's terror attacks in Jammu & Kashmir and said the attack was carried out by its local cadre.

Police sources say that the organisation is a front of Hizbul Mujahideen outfit. The brigade was in news for recently issuing threats to the people not to attend the recently held Zubin Mehta musical concert.

“We have full contact with militants and all these three militants are locals. So far our information suggests that 15 have been killed in the twin attacks,” Shams-Ul-Haq of Shohada Brigade told news agencies.
