Smart Chip Scholarship for Suyash, Hemant

FIRST YEAR students of University Institute of Technology (UIT) of the Barkatullah University Suyash Khandwe (Computer Science and Engineering) and Hemant Verma (Information Technology) have been selected for the Smart Chip Scholarship of BU.

FIRST YEAR students of University Institute of Technology (UIT) of the Barkatullah University Suyash Khandwe (Computer Science and Engineering) and Hemant Verma (Information Technology) have been selected for the Smart Chip Scholarship of BU.

Under this scholarship, New Delhi-based Smart Chip Limited would be taking care of the students’ yearly expenses, fellowship, tuition fees and other contingency expenses.

The scholarship is based on students’ performance and Smart Chip would be offering jobs to students who show consistent performance throughout their course.

Barkatullah University Vice-Chancellor Prof R S Sirohi today announced the scholarship. A joint committee comprising the director of UIT Prof S K Soni, Prof Sirohi and a nominee of the Smart Chip Limited selected the recipients of the scholarships.

This is the first time in history of the university that such a scholarship has been offered to the students. The objective is to encourage and recognise the students of UIT, BU, especially from the streams of IT and CSE.
