Somali President Abdullahi Yusuf on Monday narrowly escaped an attempt on his life in which at least four persons were killed in the town of Baidoa, the seat of the country's official transitional government.
According to witnesses, at least one car bomb was involved in the attack, which also left three others injured and several automobiles in flames.
No one has claimed responsibility for the attack.
