Unlike the collectible bottles the auction house sells for hundreds of thousands of dollars, a glass of Sotheby's bubbly won't put you in the red. A bottle costs $29.99 and a magnum $69.95.

The champagne is made from 100 percent chardonnay grapes grown in the Grand Cru vineyards of Chouilly and is described as light and fresh.

Bottles are available for sale online and in the company's retail store in New York.

Meanwhile, other unlikely champagne labels include upscale supermarket retailers Waitrose and Tesco, both in the UK.
