SP, 7 other police officers shifted

EIGHT POLICE officers, including Superintendent of Police (Rural) Paresh Pandey, were transferred to other districts with immediate effect on Friday evening. According to reports, SP (Rural) Paresh Pandey has been transferred to Jhansi as Assistant Commandant of 33 Battalion of PAC. Deputy Superintendent of Police Jyotiba Phule Nagar Lalit Kumar Singh has replaced him.

EIGHT POLICE officers, including Superintendent of Police (Rural) Paresh Pandey, were transferred to other districts with immediate effect on Friday evening.

According to reports, SP (Rural) Paresh Pandey has been transferred to Jhansi as Assistant Commandant of 33 Battalion of PAC. Deputy Superintendent of Police Jyotiba Phule Nagar Lalit Kumar Singh has replaced him.

Apart from this, seven circle officers have also been transferred with immediate effect. COs of Gyanwapi AK Singh and Amrendra Pratap Singh have been put on the waiting list whereas CO of Kotwali area AK Shukla has been transferred to Faizabad. CO of Chetganj Rajesh Kumar has been shifted to Sitapur training centre and CO of Dashashwamedh Irfan to Maharajganj.

Similarly, CO of Local Intelligence Unit Ramshanker Singh has been transferred to Bareli on the post of JDO while Gyanwapi CO Anirudh Kumar Mishra has been shifted to the post of IOW in Varanasi.

It may be mentioned that earlier SSP Navneet Sikera was also shunted out and attached with the DG office in view of his absence from the town when the bomb blasts rocked the city.
