The 18-year-old victim, a resident of Gadariya Mohal, reached the Harbans Mohal police station complaining that Dolly Yadav, a resident of Bhoosatoli and an SP leader, was forcibly selling her for prostitution.

The victim informed the police that she had an affair with Dal Mandi resident Nitin, who had introduced her to Dolly.

The girl said she had been facing opposition to her relation with Nitin from her family. In protest against the attitude of her family members, she had walked out of the house a week ago. It was then that Nitin took her to Dolly’s Hoolaganj residence. Dolly provided her a room to stay.

She alleged that two days back, Dolly had sent one Vinod Sharma to her.

Sharma had tried to rape her, she alleged. The girl claimed that she did not report the matter to the police immediately as she feared for her modesty.

However, when Sharma called on her again on Wednesday she somehow managed to leave the place.

On the other hand, the accused Dolly Yadav claimed that the girl had been indulging in indecent activities ever since she was staying at her place. Yadav also claimed that she had caught the girl in a compromising position with two men.

However, the police have registered no case till the filing of the report.
Station officer of Harbans Mohal DP Yadav said efforts were on to nab Sharma and Nitin and a case would be registered after that.
