SP city president Nassiruddin held a meeting of the party workers here on Tuesday and asked them to make efforts to reduce the chances of other parties to win the seats. He urged them to mitigate the grievances of the people visiting the Janata Adalats. The government was very serious about redressing the grievances of the people and the officers showing laxity should be taken to task, he added. He assured the party workers that all the ward presidents would be introduced to the police officials of the area so that they might help the people.
The party activists visited the Govind Nagar constituency and decided to set up booth committees for the ensuing assembly elections. City president Pradeep Shukla and secretary Mahesh Shukla directed the party workers to submit booth lists at the party head quarters in Navin Market and intensify the door-to-door contact. Besides, they should inform the people about the government’s achievements, he added.
At a meeting, the party resolved to solve the problems of the people living in the southern party of the city. on priority basis.
