STATE BANK OF Indore would organise summer cricket coaching camp for boys in the age group of 10 to 15 years at Yeshwant Club grounds from April 20.

STATE BANK OF Indore would organise summer cricket coaching camp for boys in the age group of 10 to 15 years at Yeshwant Club grounds from April 20.

Madan Dube of State Bank of Indore Cricket Club said that apart from Bank’s leading players, Narendra Dua and Narendra Menon would coach the players during the camp. The Bank would provide kit. Interested players to take part in the camp may register their names at Yeshwant Club between 5 and 6 pm.

Bhoomi pujan

INDORE ZONE IG Shailendra Shrivatsav, Tariq Khan and Babulal Baheti performed bhoomi poojan of a cricket pitch at Vaishnav School stadium for the international tennis ball cricket tournament organised by MP Sports Care. The tournament would begin on May 3 and conclude on May 14.

Earlier, Hadyesh Dixit, Raja Agnihotri, Gopal Marwal, Mukesh Pratapat, Ashok Vyas, Girish Choudhri and Bhagirath Rathod welcomed the guests. Rajesh Mehta proposed vote of thanks.

Rapid Chess

RAPID CHESS Championship organised by JJ Public School would be held on April 9 at its premises on Khandwa Road. School students and MP Chess Association registered players are eligible to take part in the tournament.
Interested players to take part in the tournament may contact their city office Sneh Nagar between 11 am and 6 pm to register their names. Transport facility has been arranged for the players from their city office.

Summer camps

SHRI GUJARATI SAMAJ is organising summer coaching camps from April 12 at its school ground. Students studying from Class III to XII can take part in the camp and the samaj would arrange free transport facility for the players during the camp along with food. The participants would be given certificates and attractive prizes during the camp.

Aid to Laxman

MINISTER FOR Sports and Youth Welfare Yashodhara Raje has sanctioned Rs 25,000 financial aid to former international hockey player Padmashri Shankar Laxman for medical treatment recently. Regional Sports and Youth Welfare Officer Ajay Dubey informed that learning about veteran hockey player Laxman’s illness, Yashodhara Raje immediately sanctioned the amount.
