'Sreeshanth should concentrate on cricket'

Former Indian Captain Ravi Shastri said Kerala pace bowler Sreeshanth has talent but he should focus more on cricket and be "more disciplined" to promote his career.

Former Indian Captain Ravi Shastri on Saturday said Kerala pace bowler Sreeshanth had talent but he should focus more on cricket and be "more disciplined" to promote his career.

In an informal chat with reporters in Thrissur, Shastri, who was in Thrissur on a private visit, said the paceman should concentrate more on cricket.

"Sreeshanth should be more disciplined if he had to make full use of his talent," he said.

Shastri, with his mother, wife and child had come Thrissur to visit the Pambumekkat temple to offer prayers.
