He has played a hockey coach, college dude, armyman, journalist and even a scientist. Shah Rukh Khan adds another feather to his multi-professional cap by playing a lawyer for the first time in Jolly LLB to be directed by writer/director Subhash Kapoor.

His film will be produced by SRK’s Red Chillies Entertainment in association with Rakesh Upadhyay, who is a close aide of SRK’s closest competitor, Akshay Kumar.

The film, which is based on a lawyer’s life, will be an expose on the judiciary system. Subhash had earlier directed a film on cricket Say Salaam India with Sanjay Suri, Vinay Pathak and Sandhya Mrudul.
