During interaction with people from his hometown at a gathering here, Yadav said, “They will never be satisfied.”

He said only people of Etawah and Mainpuri had not made him the chief minister.
“There were others also,” he said. Yadav said he had not visited his assembly segment Gunnaur in Budaun for the last several months, but there was no complaint from there.

But, he said, he was flooded with complaints and applications from Etawah and Mainpuri.

Even today people were trying to thrust applications into his hand. “Agar kaam nahin hua to naraz mat ho jao aur hame jetao, tumahre sare kaam ho jai gein” (don’t get angry if your work has not been done, ensure our victory in the election, all your work would be done), he told them. The SP district office-bearers, who had assembled here to participate in the review meeting of local bodies election, complained against some SP MLAs. To this Yadav said, the MLAs had committed irregularities but that that he should be punished for their mistakes. Targeting the Raj Bhawan, Yadav said, “every day my government is being dismissed.” He said he had been working under tremendous pressure.
