Team Anna members said in Ralegan Siddhi on Tuesday they will not campaign for or against any party in the assembly elections in five states.

"We have decided that we will not campaign or target any one party during these elections, but explain to the people what the government's role was and what that of the other parties was on bringing in the Lokpal bill," Prashant Bhushan said.

Bhushan was speaking to reporters after a meeting with Anna Hazare in his village Ralegan Siddhi on Tuesday along with Arvind Kejriwal and Kumar Vishwas.

He added, "The government's betrayal on the Lokpal was the biggest but the attitude of other parties was questionable."

Earlier, Team Anna had threatened to campaign against the parties that had opposed the Jan Lokpal bill -- their version of the Lokpal bill -- in the five states going to polls. Their campaign was particularly targeted against the Congress.
