Telgi arrested by CBI in fresh stamp seizure case
CBI urged Telgi's custody saying they needed his custodial interrogation to unearth the racket.
Abdul Karim Telgi, prime accused in the multi-crore fake stamp paper scam, was on Tuesday arrested by CBI in a fresh case of stamp seizure and produced before the court Thane.

Telgi, already held in fake stamp paper case of Pune was on Tuesday arrested by CBI in another case pertaining to seizure of fake stamp on Meera Road in 1999.
CBI urged Telgi's custody saying they needed his custodial interrogation to unearth the racket. Telgi was produced before Judicial Magistrate First Class, Jaiswal.
Hearing CBI's plea special Judge SM Shembole presiding over the MCOCA court in Pune had on Monday directed Jailor of Yerawada prison to produce Telgi in Thane court in the case pertaining to seizure of fake stamps on Meera Road.
