Terrorists attack army picket in Doda

Security forces launched a cordon and search operation to track down terrorists.

Terrorists on Sunday made an abortive bid to target an army picket in Doda district by hurling a grenade at it.

Terrorists hurled the grenade on the army picket near State Bank of India branch in Thathri area of Doda, but it missed the intended target and exploded on the road leaving no casualty, official sources said.

A car was damaged in the blast. Security forces launched a cordon and search operations in the area to track down the terrorists.
